The ground floor of the hotel is under going major construction. I was given a second floor room, walls are shaking at 8am. Hotel refused to assist with room switch, citing they don't have same room, understandable considering it is a small hotel but they refused to pet me cancel my reservation, that's totally unacceptable!

The staff was fine but the property is poorly maintained and oddly designed The rooms are tiny, bed hard and back breaking Air conditioner didn’t work (and they kept arguing that it did) At $300 cnd a night it was a bitter disappointment We barely slept the whole time, which ruined our time in Lisbon

The location is great, we were steps away from all the restaurants, shopping, and sight seeing Lisbon had to offer. This area is pretty busy compared to others, but still worked out for us since we only stayed one night and wanted to see as much as possible in 1.5 days. The hotel room itself was pretty tiny for two people. There was a dining room for breakfast which was nice and convenient. Our room was on the fourth floor which was a nuisance to get to since the elevator was super tiny and the stairwell narrow and steep. Overall, the hotel did the job for one night, but next time I would stay somewhere else.

Beautiful apartment and amazing staff

On a recent family trip to Lisbon my mum had a very bad fall which required hospitalisation and surgery. The staff, Corina in particular, could not have done more for us during our stay. They offered us a reduced rate on our room, provided free breakfasts and also contacted the hospital for us on several occasions to get updates. Everyone went above and beyond for us and made a horrible situation a lot more bearable. We will be forever grateful. Aside from that the apartment we were staying in was lovely, comfortable and very quiet considering it was so central. If you’re looking for someone to stay in Lisbon, this is it!!!

Misleading Photos advertising this venue.

This was our first trip to Lisbon and was a short stay before we travelled to Mexico. I do use Booking.com to book 99% of the venues we stay at, and from time to time what is advertised is not quite what is advertised, but this venue really missed the mark in our opinion. The description advertised on Booking.com Private suite Deluxe Room with Balcony The air-conditioned suite has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. The suite offers soundproof walls, a minibar, a tea and coffee maker, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, as well as city views. The unit has 1 bed. Please note : CITY VIEWS and BALCONY the photo attached also states landmark. We specifically chose this venue for the the attic room and city view which looked beautiful as described above. Our journey…. We arrived at the hotel on the 24th April - and departed on the 26th April 2023. Parking outside the hotel is difficult as it is on an extremely busy one way street with 2 lanes. We entered the reception area which is a lot smaller than it looks in the photos and within a few minutes, this entire lobby was full of people either checking out or checking in and some guests had to line up outside on the street, please see the photo for reference. The baggage storage area is extremely small and between the lobby and the first floor, with very little room to manoeuvre. The lift which took us to our room on the 5th floor could not accommodate 2 people and 2 suitcases and 2 small cases, we had to make 2 trips. See attached photo. Our attic room with beautiful city view was not what was advertised at all. Our view faced inward, not out towards the city, instead our view consisted of a stained wall, with windows looking into our room and a large drain pipe. There is no need for me to describe the view in great detail, the photos attached speak a thousand words. We immediately spoke to reception about this and they informed us that only one room in the hotel has the city view, and when we showed the photos advertised on booking.com and the description, we were told by the receptionist the attic rooms advertised had all been mixed together, so it was hard to tell which room had the city view, We were informed by reception that the only attic room to have a city view was room number 53, which is advertised in the photos on booking.com We asked if there was a bar as seen and advertised in the photos and again, to our disappointment, we were informed there was no bar service as depicted in the photos advertising the property. We were given a a poor excuse that venues in Lisbon were subject to hacking a number of months ago, but our response is, the venue has had months and months to update the venue photos and description to reflect an accurate detail of the property and the services on offer. I strongly feel this property has deliberately misrepresented the private suite Deluxe Room with Balcony they advertised. A reminder - The air-conditioned suite has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. The suite offers soundproof walls, a minibar, a tea and coffee maker, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, as well as city views and landmark views. We were offered no compensation, there were no mangers available to discuss our concerns. The room we did have Wifi was exceptionally good. Very Spacious Bed was big and comfy. Plenty of power outlets The bathroom was spacious and clean We could hear the external air-conditioning unit outside, but the noise was minimised with the windows all closed. The balcony was completely unappealing and if the lift are advertising balcony views with flowers in the photos, I would ask why they are not advertising the balcony to the room we stayed in, please feel free to look at the photo. We paid just under €400.00 for 2 nights in April, and based on what we received, I would say it was worth half of that amount. Sadly, I would not stay here again, and I strongly encourage anyone choosing this venue to ask for a full description of the room they are booking, and the services available. While I am not able to comment on any other rooms, I still feel Booking.com need to review this property immediately, especially the attic rooms or rooms advertised with a balcony and city views.
